Because clearly some players are better spellers and game players than others, yet if the luck of a the draw has one player pulling the X, Z, Q, J, both blanks and most of the S's ... well then the other guy hardly stands a chance. What about fishing? They have fishing tournaments for money ... and yet clearly some fishermen are more skilled than others, anyone can get lucky once in a while and reel in a money fish. The lottery is pure luck. Bingo is pure luck. Poker, scrabble, and fishing are not the same. Is Scrabble a game of skill, or a game of luck?
